the lush vday diner
A ‘Lush Diner’ approach to create engaging and scene-setting campaign for window and in-store displays.
I worked with an international wider team (UK & NA based) to take the creative brief and develop it into assets that were shared and put into production by global teams. I lead the visual merchandising and in-house R&D on large-scale display products which were created from card and paper, constructed onsite and suspended in the windows to be an eye-catching and fun exhibition of the new, seasonal products.
This project involved managing the R&D process, material research and supplier liaison, allocating assets to 106 UK&I stores, communicating with the stores- including producing window ‘Toolkits’ and VM guides, travelling to Glasgow to do the install of the window display and troubleshooting/ reflecting on the project… amongst much more!
Working closely with the Packaging R&D team, we created giant versions of the Lush Valentine’s range products: these were accurately scaled and artworked to fit in with the ‘diner’ concept. Here are some snaps of the 3D mock ups that we did in the process.
3d research and development
I had been experimenting with utilising Adobe Dimension to create high quality, accurate renders of my window designs and the Valentines Day project hugely benefitted from this when it came to communicating the concepts and visuals with global markets and sharing the toolkits with shops to create their Valentines windows with the assets we provided.
